As with using any online discussion space, keep in mind the following tips so that you stay safe online and still have an enjoyable forum experience:

Use a nickname for your Username that doesn’t include personal information like your name, email address or age. Try not to use your full name in the forum. Don’t tell anyone your personal information, even if they ask for it. What do we mean by personal information? Things like your name, address, the name of your school/college, telephone or mobile numbers, passwords or photos of you and your friends. Giving out information like this can easily make you vulnerable. If you ever find yourself in a situation that is making you feel uncomfortable, you can easily get away by logging out. If you read or see something on the Forum that you find upsetting, gross or that makes you feel uncomfortable, report it by contacting Mobile Movies at mobilemovies@ljmu.ac.uk or let someone from your Youth Organisation know.
